-quarter is done; dunno what grades are yet
-Stressful and not good time right before company came (Please don't ask yet; most of those who need to know do)
-Company arrives and things get slightly better
-tree decorating because company
-realizing you've gone way backwards in both writing and magic shit; emparrased at self. *sighs*
-Babies are so freaking adorbs. Just saying.

Unlearning has some of its benefits. You get to flesh it out in a new way.
Plus (and I am kidding here) if you go back far enough, you know all those posts about poetry done by kids? It's brilliant because they don't have the adult structures about the world governing what they imagine. Some poets say you have to unlearn all of that to get really good at abstraction. Counts for magic too.

Ha...I need to start looking so I can give my Voc rehab counsellor what she needs to keep my funding, though.

As for the magic;...I feel a little better that I at least didn't lose the fundamentals during the stressful shit with the ex I mentioned up there. Nor did I fall pray to becoming a bitter or an alcoholic person. Which is all damn good considering.

I do, however, appreciate the words up thee; because some of that is so damn true.
