An idiot friend on your FB who blames all the supply chin and inflation issues on Biden, and not the world's issues at large. Talking about how biden is blaming it al l on Covid, war in Ucrane (How the money in aid is coming out of our pockets (as taxpayers, I guess) and not his) and how prices under trump stayed steady.

All of this in response to baby formula shortages. Because the stores had productes like soda/energydrinks/ice cream and not the other stuff.

After he sent images of gas pumps, which I asked him to describe, and after he said that Biden/Harris was the worst administration since Nixon, which was before he was born)...I just decided that he wasn't worth my time and energy.

If I had a way of posting the entire post from FB, I would. Mainly so we could at (redacted's)idiocy. Because he's a moron. Unfortunately I've known this moron since high school and very little about him has changed, even though he is a bit older than I am.

(Public because it can be.)

We had inflation under Obama because of two terms of that dipshit Bush fucking up the country, and we have inflation under Biden because of that dipshit Trump fucking up the country. We had supply chain issues starting when Trump was president and he mismanaged the response to COVID. The supply chain issues aren't new, they're just worse because they've been going on for two fucking years.

The reason why there are baby formula shortages, by the way, is because it's used by people who make drugs like meth... which is an epidemic here in Indiana, despite us having a Republican-majority government in this state.

I like Biden. I would have preferred Bernie, or Elizabeth Warren, but you know what? Biden's actually done a better job as president than I thought he was going to, and I'm proud of the way Biden's been handling the US response to Ukraine. I call him "Uncle Joe" here at home. [He's not actually my uncle but he gives off those dad/uncle vibes.]

I am, too, actually. He's the first on to use pocketbookery (A word I just made up, basically economic pull) to make people sit up and pay attention, instead of "threats and pew-ews" direct quote from a friend, to accomplish things.

Despite what I said in below comment, I agree with you that he's done a better job than Trump/the George's/than I though he was going to.

Also, I didn't realize that baby formula was an ingredient in meth. o.o

The only quibble I have with this comment is that most of the baby food shortage is because one of the major US formula manufacturers got shut down for failing inspections and a bunch of their stuff had to be recalled for possible contamination. Though I have heard that it can be used in meth as well.

Big oof yeah, that sucks about the contamination, I didn't know about that. But there was/is definitely a problem with it being used in meth before the contamination happened, that's been ongoing and it's contributed to shortages in known meth areas. [Hi, I'm from Indiana, we grow corn and meth.] So I'm guessing the contamination escalated it.

I mean, Biden is a Republican in a blue suit, a virulent asshole of five sorts, and exactly like every other right-centrist establishment Democrat ever. Including Obama, who was quite the warmonger and only praised because of very selective “progressive” points that would just be seen as human decency in any other country.

He's at least using his economic pull to not buy things in Russia to advantage, unlike the 2 George's/trump. Not that that makes him less of an asshole (In general just a more crafty one.

ALso, I agree. I don't think this country was ever set up (in theory) to come down to only two parties battling it out over who runs the schoolyard, so to speak. xd)

(Because let's face it, speaking as an elf, humans act like children most of the time. (Being human-bodied, I'm not immune, just sayin'.) there's a reason most of them shouldn't be in charge.)

It's interesting what people try to pin on presidents in this country. None of them control everything, that isn't their job. They aren't dictators (as much as the last guy tried to be) or monarchs, some things are just out of their hands, by design. Smh.
