I've been interested in conservation since I was in my 20's, if not earlier. I've been in and out of environmental clubs/activist things since that time. The most noteable when we tried to save Florida's Babcock Ranch from developers (Which faild by 200 dollars; I cried) where I did a mini concert of three songs. The environment is a big deal to me, and the more I learn about American society, the more I want to throttle it. Muchly.
• Weaponswork
Some of this strattles corporial/noncorporiaal levels. In meatspace, I was part of a fencing club for a while, and I'm always interested (Despite my blindness, and people concerned with me hearting myself) with weapons of all eras from now back to mideival times. I would dearly love to try my hand at the throwing knives just once, and I'm interested in going to a shooting range as well.

Incorporial land, I am one of the better weapons people in here due to some of my professions, and the fact that I've had to defend myself out there on a number of occasions. It's fun, and I enjoy sparring, a lot. To the point that I wish the body were better at it in meatspace.

• Polychrome Heroics
I can't remember who introduced me to Polychrome, but it was the best thing ever. It's one of the few things that I enjoy reading, even if I have gotten behind. I love the diversity and representation, and the subversion factor brings me joy, especially when biggets get poked in eyes. :d


I am still willing to speak of more if people wish me to. This is actually fun.

I really wish I'd found Polychrome Heroics years ago before I ended up with Post COVID Syndrome and the resulting brain fog that's made it difficult to read as much as I used to, because there is so much of it that I got lost trying to get into it and gave up. It's too bad because it's such an interesting, imaginative concept, but my brain does not have the ability to parse really long, complex stuff the way it used to, which I'm mad at myself for even though I know it's not my fault. Sigh.

Yes, environmental destruction is very sad.

There is a lot, but it's also really cool the way thing intersect. I can see why your brain would have a hard time with it.

It is. Although I've heard that the developers made a walkable city, and left p;art of it alone, though that was so many years ago, that things could've changed by now. The reason we were trying to keep it of their hands was because it made up part of the wildlife coridor between some states, and that is a very important thing for ecosystem diversity.

I didn't do fencing for long, and I need to see if I can find a blind fencing club here in Indy, but it was pretty cool when I did it. I'm pretty sure if I did it now, I'd have to get back in shape first. xd

Yeah, my brain wouldn't have had a hard time with it before COVID but now... hahaha. I miss reading, but like I keep saying I can either do that OR write, and writing is a bit more necessary for my mental health. I do still read some fanfic sometimes just not to the extent that I used to and something like Polychrome Heroics is way too much for my poor addled brain to keep up with.

Yeah, that was a sad day. That was one of days a long time ago when I wish I'd've had the croudfunding sources I do now. I wouldn't have faild then, I don't think.
