Wishlist post 2019 ... for now

DW paid time for either this account or worldofwords (or both) I miss paid time.
Wall flowers from Bath and Body works, or body washes; I have enough lotions. The only exceptions are sets (I.E. Body wash, lotion, cream (Or body spray, cream, shower gel, something like that) because I have a weakness for those.
-Weighted blanket. If you're getting that for me, PM me for my weight; apparently you need that for the right percentage of pressure.

I know...this is a lot of materialistic shit, but I'm...this is without the lust items, too. Or some of them. I would love another 3rd Gen dot and the amazon wofffer to have a stareo set up in my room, but the money just isn't there, nor, I fear, is the room. ... but it's still there on my list, as are some 3D headphhones with witch I can record things around me with. Including maybe performances in filk circles of which I've been a part, so I can be transported back there.

Not to mention enough money to get back to Conflikt this Jan as there are now people there I want to see perform, and visit. I miss Washington...and if I do it right, I might actually be able to practice there, like I did a few years ago-and actually not hide the fact I'm doing so.

I'd suggest cross-posting this to holiday-wishes.dreamwidth.org (you're allowed a numbered wishlist with ten numbers, including giftcards and one outside wish list, and even holiday cards). I'd happily help y'all put a post together, if you need it.

And yes, help with the post would be appreciated, especially if there's a limit to the number of giftcard places you can have. Because I know that was a restriction on LJ's community. You could only have giftcards to three different things. (IE, Starbucks, Target, Miejer. The rest...would just have to stay here.

The rule is three *categories* of gift cards here -- you can say grocery gift cards and list off the ones near you in parentheses, and it counts as one. I have my listing as "Gift cards to any grocery places (Walmart, Market Basket, and Hannaford are closest to me but I have others nearby as well) or music places (Guitar Center-type stuff, including online), or a CharlieCard (Boston public transit)". This counts as one of my ten wishes. They've also got the option to request fanfiction, if that's of any interest.

Can I cry now? I didn't realize the holiday wishes com had migrated. I've gotten several lovely things from there, including a delightful piece of Rainbow Fudge that I want again, because nommy.

I took a few different liberties with the post I put up there, like adding a few things to the wishlist, and leaving out the coffees because I wasn't sure all of them would fit their format, but there's still plenty there to choose from. :d

Weighted blankets are hella warm, even for me - and I am basically a cold-blooded creature. Be prepared.

Yeah well it's kinda cold in my room, and I'm on a loft bed. I was at my grandma's place as a child and her blankets were heavy and warm. I miss that pressure so much now. Although until I put two comforters (Both thin ones) on my bed, I didn't realize that's what it was. Now that I do, I want it back.

They can be! I have found a set that is much less warm. I have a small collection at this point - my very first was hand-made by someone on the internet, but unfortunately this meant that the weight was not evenly spread. This eventually made me crazy. I then ordered a (warm) one for winter. Since them, my partner ordered me a cooling one for summer based on a friend's suggestion - unfortunately, I cannot find the information about the brand.

I am about 160lbs and prefer 20lbs of weight, which is higher than usually suggested - so be aware that is also a thing. Mind you, I also ask people with whom I am comfortable to lie down on me when even the blanket is not enough.
